Important Compliance Note
This notice is intended as a website-facing financial privacy disclosure. Regulation P requires the notice to accurately reflect the financial institution’s actual information-sharing practices. Before publication or use as a formal initial or annual GLBA privacy notice, Premier Point Mortgage should have its compliance professional confirm the sharing categories, affiliate status, joint marketing practices, and whether any opt-out rights apply. Why We Provide This Notice
Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some, but not all, sharing of personal financial information and requires financial institutions to explain how they collect, share, and protect that information. Premier Point Mortgage is a mortgage broker and may be subject to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and Regulation P.
Information We Collect
In connection with mortgage services, we may collect nonpublic personal information from applications and forms; transactions with us, lenders, or service providers; consumer reporting agencies; and other sources permitted by law. This may include contact information, Social Security number, income, employment, assets, liabilities, credit history, property information, transaction information, and other information necessary to evaluate or process mortgage financing.
How We Use and Share Financial Information
We may use and disclose nonpublic personal information as permitted by law to process and service transactions you request, arrange mortgage financing, verify information, prevent fraud, comply with legal requirements, and work with service providers and other parties involved in mortgage origination and closing. Depending on our actual business practices, other sharing may require additional disclosures or an opportunity to opt out.
How We Protect Information
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect customer information. Access is limited to personnel and service providers who need the information for legitimate business purposes, subject to applicable legal and contractual requirements.
Former Customers
When a customer relationship ends, we continue to handle nonpublic personal information in accordance with applicable law and our privacy and information security obligations.
