Before closing day, you will receive something called a Closing Disclosure. This important five page document is federally required and must be delivered at least three business days before you close. It lays out the final loan terms, your monthly mortgage payment, escrow details, and all closing costs. Yes, it is a lot of numbers, but that is where we come in. We will walk through every page with you and explain what it all means—no jargon, no surprises, just clarity.
In addition to federal disclosures, state-specific requirements also apply, depending on where your property is located. These may include title affidavits, transfer tax forms, or other local government documents. Don’t worry—Premier Point Mortgage works directly with licensed settlement agents, attorneys, and title companies who are experts in these regional requirements. We make sure everything is in perfect order before you pick up that pen.ed condition.
One last stop before you sign is the final walkthrough. This is your chance to confirm that the property is in the condition agreed upon, that any requested repairs are completed, and that the seller did not take the ceiling fans or the fridge when they left (yes, it happens). It is your peace of mind moment—and we encourage you to take it seriously. When the big day arrives, we aim to make closing feel like a celebration, not a chore. You will bring a government issued ID, any required funds (certified check or wire), and your best signature. You will leave with keys, copies of your signed documents, and a huge sense of accomplishment. It may take about an hour, but it marks the beginning of something lasting—your new home.
You have navigated the preapproval process, conquered the paperwork, toured the homes, and made it through underwriting with your sanity (mostly) intact. Now comes the moment you have been waiting for: closing. This is not just a formality—it is the grand finale, the final boss level, the victory lap.
